Assistant Sourcing Manager / Logistic Coordinator

Work description:

  • Identifying and Sourcing for materials, suppliers and ensuring that the stock meets Company requirements and inventory levels
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining material control system
  • Controlling of purchasing and delivery documents
  • Follow up and report suppliers’ delivery times

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in purchasing or supply chain management
  • Some experience of material resource planning programs (MRP)
  • Good English and Malay communication skills as minimum requirements
  • Willing to work in Lumut, Perak

 

Outfitting Designer

Requirements:

  • Candidates must posses at least a Diploma or Degree in Engineering
  • Personnel with minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in construction/marine industry (experience in Shipbuilding will be advantageous)
  • Experienced in interior outfitting installation, especially accommodation areas
  • Well versed in AutoCAD
  • A good team player who is independent, self motivated with good communication
  • Problem analysis and solving skills

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, designing and monitoring structures and interiors of the vessel
  • Identifies and sequences all structural and pre-outfitting activities for all hull construction in accordance with specification and drawings
  • Interior engineering

 

Designer/ Design Engineer (M & E)

Requirements:                   

  • Candidates must posses at least Diploma in Engineering
  • Personnel with minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in construction/marine industry (experience in Shipbuilding will be advantageous)
  • Knowledge and experiences in Electrical design.
  • Well versed and good skill to adequate in AutoCAD

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and designing electrical facilities & wirings, power distribution and lighting systems
  • Review electrical drawing and the testing/inspection of ship systems, test procedures, engineering change proposals and electrical documentation
  • Responsible for electrical system engineering & outfitting design work for hull

 

Designer / Design Engineer (Piping)

Requirements:

  • Candidates must posses at least Diploma or Degree in Engineering
  • Personnel with minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction/marine industry (experience in Shipbuilding will be advantageous)
  • Knowledge and experiences in piping design, piping routing are required for piping Designer
  • Familiar with arrangement and isometric drawing is a must
  • Well versed and good skill to adequate in AutoCAD
  • Experienced in HVAC preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design, fabrication and testing of all piping systems
  • Responsible for heating and cooling systems in the vessels included air conditioned spaces and cooling/heating air supplies
  • Plan, monitor and coordinate shipbuilding activities specifically in hull structure/piping
  • To ensure all job activities are carried out as per drawings
  • Perform evaluation of piping systems and related components and structures including pumps, compressors, filters, valves, dryers, heat exchangers, strainer, tanks
  • Interface with systems engineering, structural engineering, piping design and support design group, for the design of piping systems and pipe supporting elements.
  • Review and evaluate vendor drawings & fabrication details in order to assure compliance with specifications and standards.

 

Drafter (for Piping, Structural, Electrical or Outfitting)

Requirements:

  • Education at least with Technical Certificate in relevant field
  • Well versed in AutoCAD
  • Experience in Shipbuilding or Marine related industry will be advantageous
  • Able to produce detailed shop drawings with minimal supervision

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and producing CAD drawings for electrical/piping/mechanical department
  • Able to schedule, monitor and coordinate progress of work to meet project expectations

 

Warehouse Assistant

Requirements:

  • Experienced warehouse workers preferred
  • Basic knowledge in technical drawings
  • Valid forklift/ lorry drivers license or is advantageous
  • Basic knowledge of computer usage, like Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day to day operations of warehouse operation
  • Responsible to schedule servicing and maintenance supply and distribution, storage condition, safety and security of the warehouse
  • Prepare and update all warehouse related documentations

 

Asisstant Site Supervisor

Requirements:

  • Preferably with Diploma or Certificate
  • Must have strong leadership and supervising skill
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Experienced in construction or shipbuilding

Responsibilities:

  • To establish and supervise daily work schedule for project operation
  • To ensure all job activities are carried out as per drawings
  • To advise Foreman on job activities to be carried out
  • Review project drawing and resolve technical problems promptly
  • Assist in resolving all technical and site issues
  • Assist on overall construction site planning, construction activities, operation and completion the work on time

 

General Clerk

Requirements:

  • Personality and characteristics:
  • Fluent in English and Malay language
  • Written and spoken Chinese skills are a benefit
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, power Point, Email)
  • Experience in secretarial / clerical and office work
  • Knowledge and/or experience in shipping industry
  • Polite, respectful  and professional manners

The working language is mainly English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities:

  • Duties include customer service by telephone, email, fax and mail, meeting and greeting company visitors at the office
  • Attending to meetings, scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Handling general office tasks for the project team

 

We are also looking for experienced people include workers and foreman in:

  • Interior outfitting installations
  • AC installation
  • Galley installation
